Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington D.C., Karyn began her career performing onstage and in film and TV with some of the industry’s leading actors and directors.

His debut feature, First Date (2021), which he shot as well as co-directed/co-wrote with Darren Knapp, premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and received theatrical distribution via Magnolia Pictures.
