The project is set to be filmed on location in the breathtaking landscapes of Calaveras County, a picturesque region nestled in California’s Sierra Nevada. Known for its stunning natural beauty, rolling hills, vineyards, wineries, mountain lakes, rivers and majestic pines, the historic charm of Calaveras County provides the perfect backdrop for the film’s story. Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington D.C., Karyn began her career performing onstage and in film and TV with some of the industry’s leading actors and directors.

His debut feature, First Date (2021), which he shot as well as co-directed/co-wrote with Darren Knapp, premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and received theatrical distribution via Magnolia Pictures.
